Welcome to Pryorville Woodcraft!

Hi, I'm Chris Pryor. My wife, Caryn, and I officially launched Pryorville Woodcraft in May of 2024—but my journey with woodworking began long before that.

When I was 10 years old, my parents, Red and Sue Pryor, bought land in Flagler County, Florida, along with a 100-year-old fixer-upper. Our family moved in and spent the next 20 years restoring it together. In 1986, Caryn and I purchased a portion of that same land. Using the skills I’d learned from my father, we built a log home from the ground up.

My sister and her family also built a home on the property, and over time, someone affectionately dubbed our little community “Pryorville.” The name stuck—and now, it’s at the heart of our business.

In 2020, after 30 years as a science teacher, principal, and mentor to educators, I retired and finally built the woodshop I’d always dreamed of. Woodworking has always been part of my life—crafting tables, signs, wood art, church pieces, and custom projects for friends and neighbors. Turning that lifelong passion into a small business felt like a natural next step.

At Pryorville Woodcraft, every piece is made with care, craftsmanship, and a lot of love. I especially enjoy seeing the smiles when people run their hands over the smooth finish of something made just for them.

We’d love to create something meaningful for you or someone you love. If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for on our site, please reach out—we’re happy to design something custom.

Welcome to the Pryorville family!
